Community Blog

Just a quick FYI - my good friend Holly has started up a new community blog on bravenet. Check it out by clicking HERE. There will be tutorials to help you learn how to customize your blog, there are links to other blogs for you to check out and a lot more useful information there for the users of the bravenet community. Please be sure to stop by and check it out, and spread the word so others can benefit from this new blog too!

(As a side note, I'm going to set the date for this post so that it will remain up top for a while to try to maximize exposure of the new community blog. Scroll down to see my new posts.)

Hi Angel.
Here is a copy of my reply to your comment in my blog, posted there too.
You are right. When no one comments on what we write, we feel that we are not worth a comment. A comment need not be in agreement with what we write. It can give a different opinion, but it should be logical and related to our post. As you know, almost every topic you can think of will have more than one meaning or opinion on that. But so far it relates to our post and adding to our and our readers’ knowledge, we should tolerate that too. It helps us to improve our own understanding. It helps us to improve our thought-process and blogging skills. I hope you agree with me.

Yes, as I often say, login-in, registering, “members only”, etc., in fact, restrict the freedom of opinion. After all Internet is all about speed. Further, we may not like to fill in personal details everywhere. The common practice of leaving an email ID or a site/blog URL is more than enough. But very few people understand this. And people like you with innovative thinking shout come out openly and express your opinion fearlessly against such restrictive solely business-minded trends. Then only blogging or expressing one’s opinion anywhere will become meaningful.

I wish you a great weekend!
:)

Hi again,
This is about Holly's great effort to give a forum for Bravejournal Bloggers. If it is utilized properly, no doubt it will help all.
In fact I was disgusted after visiting Bravenet's own Blog Community over a few times. There is no one, it seems, to manage it. Quite often, I found, it complicated problems rather than solving them. Anyone, even without basic knowledge of the question, can post replies to questions, and no one corrected or moderated them. Keeping this in view, Holly's efforts are highly appreciated, and you too deserve kudos for writing a post on it and recommending it.
Have a nice time, keep smiling!
